New Mexico IFC Best Practice Award Winner

Atkin Olshin Schade Architects, in partnership with the Zuni Housing Authority, received the Best Practice Award in Housing for our collaboration on Community Level Housing Assessments: Mobile Data Collection. The Award was presented at the 23rd Annual New Mexico Infrastructure Finance Conference (NMIFC).

The Best Practice Awards highlight sustainable public infrastructure projects throughout New Mexico in Economic Development, Finance, Housing, Planning, Transportation, Tribal and Utilities where innovative solutions were implemented incorporating community‐wide participation.

The NMIFC, held last month in Albuquerque, NM, included participants from up to 400 local governmental entities, legislators, federal agencies, special districts, school districts, tribes and pueblos, private organizations and New Mexico businesses. The conference focuses on planning, tourism, tribal, utilities, water and wastewater, economic development, transportation, housing, and other public infrastructure. Shawn Evans and Miriam Diddy of AOS Architects and staff from the Zuni Housing Authority presented the project during a housing track session at the conference.
