Ruthie Embry, RA!

We are pleased to announce that Ruthie Embry has successfully completed the Architectural Registration Exam and is now a licensed architect in Pennsylvania. Ruthie joined our Philadelphia office in 2014 and has served as Project Architect for several of the firm’s preservation projects, including the Eastern State Penitentiary Archives and Building 57 at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Ruthie is also working on Harwood Commons at Franklin & Marshall College and renovations to the Old Metropolitan Opera House in Philadelphia, PA.

Ruthie graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. Ruthie is the recipient of the Anthony Nicholas Brady Garvan Award for an Outstanding Thesis for her Masters thesis focusing on the design of architectural reconstructions and historic sites.
