The Sarah P. Duke Gardens at Duke University are recognized as one of the most important botanical gardens in America. The Doris Duke Center is a new visitor’s center and horticultural educational facility for the gardens. We worked collaboratively with Nelson-Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects to design a series of buildings and landscapes that provide a beautiful transition from the entrance through the Center into the realm of the gardens.
