Fourth Floor Addition Provides Expanded Amenities
Gap International’s unique business practices and the principles of Feng Shui were central to our design for an expansion to the company’s corporate headquarters. Gap International, a global performance consulting firm, is known for its specific focus on transformational business leadership. This focus, and a highly collaborative process, was instrumental in the design of the project, which involved a fourth floor addition to the Company’s corporate headquarters. The addition includes new conference rooms, a 150-person meeting space, an executive suite, and a roof terrace.
The new space connects building occupants directly with the site’s natural surroundings and provides a serene and inspirational environment for business communication. Large windows offer sweeping views of the adjacent woods from every vantage point and fill the fourth floor with natural light. The conference space provides state-of-the art teleconferencing, audio, and visual systems, as well as a high degree of flexibility through operable partitions and an open plan. The custom ceiling allows for seamless integration of lighting, A/V, and mechanical systems, and also provides superior acoustics.
