In Case You Missed It:

Last month, Principal Sam Olshin, FAIA, spoke at this year’s Venice Biennale with Ideal Spaces in their workshop focused on concepts and examples of building community resilience. Sam’s presentation, titled ‘Sustaining Community Resilience Through Creative Live/Work Housing,’ discussed how the Siler Yard Arts + Creativity Center’s collaborative design process contributed to creating an affordable and sustainable community for local Santa Fe artists.

His presentation and the discussion that followed can be watched in full on the Ideal Spaces Facebook page. Ideal Spaces is an art and research working group that focuses on the shaping of contemporary living spaces.

Earlier this fall, Principal Michael Schade, AIA, presented at the Lab Design Conference on Adapting Richards Medical Research Laboratory and participated in a panel on P3 Development sponsored by the SMPS of Maryland.
