AOS Forms Strategic Partnership with MASS Design Group
Atkin Olshin Schade Architects’ (AOS) Santa Fe office has merged with MASS Design Group' Santa Fe office (MASS) and the two firms have formed a strategic partnership. The strategic partnership is aimed at better serving current and future clients to achieve their missions and goals. The partnership will provide opportunities for AOS’s Philadelphia office to partner with MASS to pursue innovative approaches to preservation, adaptive reuse, and design for mission-focused organizations throughout the US.
Shawn Evans, AIA, (previously a Principal with AOS) and the staff of the AOS Santa Fe have joined MDG’s Santa Fe office, the home of the Sustainable Native Communities Design Lab, a Native-led resource center for Indian Country to develop culturally responsive and resilient Native communities. AOS and MASS have operated in separate offices next to each other, collaborating on joint projects for years. In recognition of this close relationship and complementary services, the AOS Santa Fe five-person team has joined the MASS Santa Fe team, creating one of the largest architecture and design offices in Santa Fe, with 18 employees.

MDG will continue to develop their practice focused on creating social impact through the built environment. The merger with AOS’s Santa Fe office will support the growth of MDG and bring AOS’s expertise in preservation and projects for cultural and educational institutions to the firm.
