AOS Wins Awards from Hospitality Design Magazine, Preservation Alliance and Preservation PA
AOS is pleased to announce that three of our projects have won several recent awards.
Los Poblanos Historic Inn was selected as winner of the Midscale Hotel category at the 15th Annual Hospitality Design Magazine Awards Ceremony, held on June 5th in New York, NY. Along with 122 other finalists, our project was selected from 1,000 submitted entries by an esteemed panel of industry professionals. Completed in 2017, the renovation and expansion of Los Poblanos is representative of New Mexico’s rising growth in the agritourism industry. AOS collaborated with Los Poblanos and OLIN to create a unique agricultural experience, using innovative design to transition the property into the modern era while preserving its significance in the history of New Mexican architecture. A recent article by the Albuquerque Journal discusses our success in preserving the inn’s unique sense of place while introducing modern amenities.
Our work for the Philadelphia Metropolitan Opera House and the Richards Medical Research Laboratory received Grand Jury Awards at the Annual Preservation Achievement Awards, also held on June 5th in Philadelphia, PA. Selected by a jury of preservation professionals, the Grand Jury Awards celebrate the highest level of achievement in historic preservation for historic building restoration, rehabilitation, and adaptive-reuse. The Philadelphia Metropolitan Opera House was also honored by Preservation Pennsylvania with a Public Impact Award at their ceremony on June 19th.
AOS is excited to share these awards with our partners and proud to be honored for our continued dedication to preservation and design.
