Danielle Fleischmann Receives WELL Certification

We are proud to share that architect Danielle Fleischmann recently completed her WELL training and is now a WELL Accredited Professional. The WELL Building Standard is a performance-based tool used to measure and advance human health and well-being within buildings and communities. Grounded in a body of medical research, the WELL Standard explores the connection between the buildings where we spend more than 90 percent of our time, and the health and wellness impacts on its occupants. In addition to her WELL accreditation, Danielle is currently a co-chair for the Policy & Advocacy subcommittee of the AIA Philadelphia Committee on the Environment.
As a signatory of the AIA 2030 Commitment, AOS is dedicated to moving toward a carbon neutral future. With Danielle’s support, the firm reported 11 projects (7 from our Philadelphia office and 4 from our Santa Fe office) to the AIA’s Design Data Exchange (DDx) for the year 2020. The DDx is a platform for firms to benchmark projects against industry averages and annually track improvements in energy performance and carbon reductions. Our 2020 reporting represents over 283,000 square feet of designed building area, 57% of which benefited from energy modeling in pursuit of 2030 Challenge targets.
