New Faces this Summer

This summer there are some new faces around the AOS office. Chloe Richards and Fils Iragena have joined us as Interns, while we also welcome Halee Bouchehrian to the AOS team.

Halee joins our team with over 28 years of experience in the industry, with a specialization in high-end residential and hospitality projects. She strives to design thoughtfully and carefully detailed spaces that inspire their inhabitants every day. Halee will support our project teams on academic, cultural, and mixed-use development work. Before joining AOS, Halee worked on three different continents in India, China, Germany and the United States. She holds Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and a Master of Architecture from the Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania. Halee is currently working on a preservation project for the Uptown Theater on North Broad Street, as well as interior renovations to Worth Hall at Swarthmore College.

Chloe is returning for a second summer as an intern at AOS. Chloe double majored in Urban Studies and Hispanic Studies at Vassar College, and is entering her final year in the Master of Architecture and Master of City Planning programs at the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design. Last summer she assisted with construction administration on McCartney Street Housing at Lafayette College and schematic design work for the Southside Bethlehem Community Center.

Fils, better known as Ira, is also returning to AOS as an intern this summer. Ira is pursuing an architecture degree from the College of Architecture and the Built Environment at Jefferson University. He is originally from the Republic of the Congo, and moved to Philadelphia in 2018 where he studied Business Administration at YouthBuild, and later received his Associate’s Degrees in both Architecture and Interior Design from the Community College of Philadelphia. He will be supporting the team on various academic projects, including a renovation and addition project at St. Peter’s School.
