Paul Avazier Inducted as AIA Philadelphia President

We are proud to share that our Associate Principal, Paul Avazier, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, was inducted as President of AIA Philadelphia earlier this month. Paul shared his excitement for his upcoming term with the more than 100 attendees at the induction ceremony hosted at the Athenaeum of Philadelphia, noting that he’s “excited to continue to elevate the great initiatives that AIA Philadelphia is doing, as well as to get more members engaged with the profession and the communities in which they live.” Paul hopes to use his position to inspire architects to make more of an impact, including being more proactive in the goal for carbon neutrality as part of the AIA 2030 Commitment, and focusing on reducing their environmental footprint through design.

Paul has been an integral member of our team since 2007, where he has focused on a wide range of institutional projects including the award winning SouthSide Commons at Lehigh University, multiple projects for Friends Select School in Philadelphia, and the Robert and Penny Fox Historic Costume Collection at his alma mater, Drexel University. Paul is currently leading the $23 million Beaver Community Center Expansion at Penn State Berks.

Congratulations, Paul!
